Different types of industrial tools used in different industries

In industries, we use a lot of different types of tools to make our work a lot easier and faster. The main objective of these industrial tools is to reduce the labor required for various tasks and operations and increase the efficiency and of the workers in the industries. There are, basically, two types of industrial tools used mainly in industries namely fixed tools and handheld tools.
The fixed tools are basically heavy machine tools, which are heavy and cannot be moved easily from one place to another within the plant on frequent basis. These machines are used for performing heavy operations such as sheet metal cutting, turning, facing, etc. The fixed machine tools used in industries include lathe machines, CNC machine, milling machines, drilling machines and several other special purpose machine tools. There are some tasks that cannot be performed by fixed tools and handheld tools are needed to perform such operations.
Handheld tools are smaller tools, which do not have a fix place in any industry, but they are extensively used by workers to perform various tasks on a frequent basis. These handheld tools allow workers to increase their productivity by performing various operations in a very fast and precise manner. With the use of these handheld tools, you get an ultimate level of accuracy which ensures a high level of quality and safety. Some of the handheld tools are discussed below.
Hand grinders– Hand grinders are used for giving a metal part a shining surface and a smooth texture. The hand grinders remove a very thin layer of metal from the work piece and the new layer of metal is shiny as new. The hand grinders are very crucial in enhancing the look, and hence the quality of the product. They are also used for smoothing the open ends to ensure better safety.
Wrenches- Bolting is an operation, which determines the safety at the workplace and the quality of the end products, hence it is necessary to perform the operation with best levels of accuracy and perfection. For this purposes, wrenches are used. The wrenches help in tightening and loosening of bolts in a very effective and precise manner. There are many types of wrenches used in industries. Some of the most commonly used types of wrenches used in industries are pipe wrenches, impact wrenches, hydraulic torque wrenches and several others.
Welding sets- Whenever there is a broken metal part, welding sets are used to fix them up. Welding is the process of creating a strong joint by the use of high amount of electricity and molten metal.
Apart from these other small tools used include, angle grinders, handheld drill machines, etc. which make industrial work better, faster and easier and lead to better productivity of the plants and its workers.
