A torque wrench is usually used to apply accurate torque on the fasteners. It is a tool for setting and also adjusting the tightness of nuts/ bolts to a specific value. An accurate torque should be applied to the fastener to ensure the proper functioning of the machine. Inadequate torque results in damage and total deterioration of the fit.
