Industrial tools have been serving the needs of industrial plants from a long time. Without proper industrial tools, it is very difficult to run the industrial plants in an efficient way. Additionally, achievement of high level of precision is not possible without the use of proper industrial tools. Industrial tools are basically divided into two parts- one is the fixed tool and the other is handheld tools.
Fixed tools are the ones that are heavy and immovable. These industrial tools are fixed at one place and cannot be moved easily from one point of industry to another. These tools are used for performing several heavy tasks such as shearing of heavy metal sheets, machining of heavy metal pieces etc. Some of the fixed tools used in industries are lathe machine, sheet metal cutter, hydraulic press, milling machines, drilling machines, etc. Some basic operations that are performed with fixed tools are turning, facing, boring, milling, etc.
Along with fixed tools, handheld tools also have a great importance in industrial operations and tasks. The handheld tools are used by workers for performing small but vital operations in an efficient manner. Also, they increase the precision and accuracy of the operations performed by the worker; hence they prove to be the best friends of a worker in an industry.

Welding sets
Welding sets are used for joining two broken metal parts together. It is done by welding which is the process of joining the metal parts by inserting small amount of molten metal between them. Welding is an important operation for industries as it provides long lasting joints and eliminates the need for replacing the broken parts with the new ones. There is a variety of welding sets used in industries according to the requirements of the welding operations. Some of them are electric welding set, gas welding set, MIG welding set, TIG welding set, etc.
Wrenches
Wrenches are used for bolting operations in industries which is used for tightening or loosening of the bolts, nuts, studs and fasteners. The accuracy of bolting operations is not only essential for better quality of the products, but is also necessary for better safety of the workers at work place. Some usual bolting tools that are used in industries include torque wrenches, impact wrenches, open end wrenches, pipe wrenches, etc.
Other handheld tools used in industries include grinders, drill machines, etc. The only problem with handheld tools is that they keep the hand of a worker occupied which decreases his productivity to some extent. In order to solve this problem, spring balances are used. Spring balancers are used for holding handheld tools from one point of industry to another. With spring balances, the hands of a worker become free to indulge in other activities and increase their productivity.
